Manual Training, South Side
Relevant Dates: 1933
View of the Manual Training Building, southern elevation. This structure was built in 1907 to help residents improve motor skills and learn new trades that could be useful both inside and outside the institution. Although it was heavily modified in the 1980s, the exterior has remained strikingly similar to the original structure.
